Two Faces...

The first pic is the best for me, I'm pleased to learn that you too are getting to grips with a new toy.

We have a series of head plaques like that close to our back door, I used to regularly work alongside the folks who cast, then sold them at various Craft Events.........I miss all that now I'm retired.

Thank you for the comments and 'likes' - much appreciated.

Colin - No it's not a carving it's a resin type thingy of a green man that hangs in our computer room. There's quite a few 'faces' around Korky Towers.

Fooj - It really is a cracking little camera - I just love the small size and the fact that I can swap lenses without all the bulk of a DSLR. I was reluctant because Panasonic have fingers in so many pies (from TVs to hairdryers to microwave ovens), but I feel I've made a good decision.

Do you mean you invested in a GX7 like my good self?

I've been out and about in Stratford-Upon-Avon most if the day, I am more than delighted with the way it performs, the 14-45 kit lens is far more versatile than you first think.......it focuses really close fully extended.

The tiltable Electronic Viewfinder is just amazing, just what the Doctor ordered for this.....one eyed old fogey.

I keep forgetting to put its amazing super-fast shutter speed to test.

No, I didn't buy the GX7, I got the G5. Camera body and two lenses for £399.

All I need now is the opportunity to get out and use it. Family stuff today, but perhaps tomorrow.
