Partial Solar Eclipse... 25/10/2022.

Recommended Posts

Well doneJohn .   A great sequence. captured there ... I  managed a quick couple of pics on my iPhone  as I forgot there was going to be a partial eclipse until just after 11.15   this morning ... I did try to catch it on the reflection on the pond  but I was  too late and the sky clouded over  .... 😕 I posted them on the Mobile phone  board  but nowhere as good as yours  but at least I got a record of it ....😉

Thanks Cheryl & Polly!

Cheryl... The eclipse started just after 10am and peaked just before 11am, it ended at about 11:50am. I took 51 shots which was far more than I needed... I've never been known for doing anything without going over the top...😁 I used a home made filter using solar photographic sheet cut to fit into a filter ring with the glass removed. Proper filters are too expensive and would not get much use.

That explains a lot, for some reason I thought it was around 9.00am, assumed I had missed it. Great shots John well done 👍
