Vintage lens for a vintage rose

Recommended Posts

I  dug my old Russian Helios  lens out today   ( a snip at £25  ) after spending most of the last few months  with  domestic  issues requiring my attention as a priority and  consequently I have  not  had the time or inclination to be indulging in my favourite past-time  so my camera  has been  pretty dormant  for quite a while lately ... However I am now able to get back to  doing what I love  and   get back behind a lens every  day again ...  So  a rose  from my garden caught my eye  and I always love the effect this lens  gives especially   in conjunction with  flower images ...  so ... Pretty in Pink ....

Thanks Mark …appreciate your feedback . This little lens seems really suited  for this type of image and really lends itself  to a soft feel, romantic atmosphere with the bokeh  that it produces . I found it a worthwhile addition  to my lenses for very little cost .👍🏻

you are welcome, Romantic atmosphere is the perfect description. I bet it would do well on still life images as well.
