I took this shot some years ago at The International Birds of Prey Centre at Newent in Gloucestershire, I was hoping to go there again soon but unfortunately the centre closed on February 17th.

Nice shot John, a friend of mine has a bird of prey and owl sanctuary that I ought to visit again.

I spent a whole day  there in Newent a few times over the years John... it was  a fabulous place to get some  great  chances to photograph some beautiful birds of Prey and Jemima Parry Jones   has  dedicated 55 years to conservation of these creatures ... It's really sad that  it has had to close  though I believe  the work will still go on  but without being a visitor centre for the public . ...  Such a shame . As Hatter says ... Great timing   for your owl capture!
