Some of you know that I live very close to a well established and historic Ford........................as you can imagine, water levels have been a bit up and down just lately, it reacts very quickly to local conditions so drivers are often caught out and get stuck.

 

Here it is no more than a very large deep puddle, it always amazes me just how inconsiderate some drivers are to others, the van driver has deliberately chosen to drown the car........................we see it all too often.

 

Other drivers, notice families with young children standing on the footbridge, they too take great delight in driving throuh at high speed to give kids a soaking:

Used to happen at a ford near us, the chap who lived next to it put halved (lengthwise) railway sleepers either side of it and anchored them to the road :-)

That does look a bit extreme, even if the water was not that deep!! Idiot!!
