WINDY DAY PORTRAIT REVISED

Recommended Posts

Having taken he advice offered by both TIPF members and a retired pro photographer mate of mine, I have fully revised the way that I processed this portrait, shot on an extremely windy day.

His very fine hair, does seem to lose detail, possibly because it was being blown about, whereas his face and jacket remained stationary............I have explained in my previous post, that he is a profesional Father Christmas for a large store; he was talent spotted whilst shopping three years ago:

He has sent me a shot of him working, the transformation is amazing.....even I would believe in Santa he is so convincing.

here, the bleach he uses to whiten his beard is growing out, hence the dark roots, his beard and hair are his trade mark.....in the same way that I have mine styled after Disney's Geppetto.

He is a great character.

Comments welcome!
