Went to a regular spot in a racetrack reserve and was about to let Kelly & Brodie out to stretch their legs when I spotted these:

 

Wood Ducks with a rather large flock of newbies. They were quite relaxed and in a safe place so we moved on to another area. Hope to see more of them.

A good brood for theses ducks eh? I count nine?

How are you getting on with your new territory Dee?...oh, and  the new fence??

Denis we are 'getting there', have found another couple of nice spots to take K&B to so we just cruise out most mornings.

No further activity on the fence as yet, but I'm hoping to see something happen fairly soon.
