This works very well - the blue against the black background looks terrific.

 

I think I would like to see the cubes a little bigger in the frame, (a bit more blue and a bit less black) but that's just a personal preference.

Thanks Korky, I also placed them on glass to get a bit of reflection, I think its a subtle effect that enhances the shot. I see what you mean about the size, personally I like the composition but I would be interested to know what others think too.

Thanks, I agree and you should try it Tina. I like the slightly, wet, melting effect you get with real ice cubes...I just wish I could get them to freeze clear. Maybe someone knows a trick on how to freeze them to get them clear? Or would that look a bit false?
