MORE THAN IMPRESSED

I can honestly say that I am more than impressed with the rather unique.... L-Monochrome-D .... mode on my newly acquired Panasonic-Lumix GX9 cannera.....right up there with the best there is.

My inspiration was via watching a YouTube Leica user Owning a GX9 as his preferred third camera, because the monochrome results from it are on a par with those from his £10,000 set op of Leica M10 plus Leica 90mm-f 1.4 lens.

My GX9 plus the Panasonic/Leica 45mm-1.4 Lens cost under £400 in total....

These are straight-from-Camera...JPEGS... the cat ones cropped.... plus a touch of sharpening.

The GX9 is available at very reasonable prices just now.... because Panasonic made a boo-boo with its final spec.... a bit of a hybrid in fact...but worth owning because of that.

I will use mine for my mono and Vintage lens work from now on.

Your observations very welcome ...
