This is the view from Bodelwyddan castle passed the marble church looking towards Rhuddlan castle. You can see the coastal wind turbines in the distance.

I really do like that viewpoint.

 

Just a few weeks ago Mrs K and myself walked from Rhyll to Rhuddlan and back along the River Clywd with a visit to Rhuddlan Castle at the half way point.

 

A lovely part of the world - providing you close one eye as you pass through Towyn!

Annie the church and the A55 is in a bit of a valley, and Bodelwyddan castle is on a rise. 

 

Korky My wife and I often walk along the Clwyd starting at Rhuddlan, From Towyn down to Rhyl is all a bit of an eyesore. The have just spent 3.5 million on a cycle bridge across the Clwyd in Rhyl harbour, and there are millions more going to be spent on Rhyl just to tidy it up..

how lovey that you can get to take pictures like that, from one castle to another.  I had to google the castles, very interesting it was too.

I remember catching eels from under rocks at Llandudno as a kid.
