  1. I don't do to bad here in north Wales. When in Yorkshire I like to visit the abby's. I am near to Thirsk.
  2. Hello Kev I spend a lot of time in north Yorkshire, and I always have my camera with me. Great place for piccys.
  3. Wow. Now that what I call photography. First class.
  4. Incredible images in there. Thanks for posting it.
  5. Thank you so much for putting this story into perspective. The media in their inimitable style are winding this story up to the max.
  6. I totally agree, I also like "life isn't about dodging the storms, but learning to dance in the rain" Maybe we should have a philosophical section.
  7. Hello mate and welcome. I am new here myself, only been here for about a week. There are some great photographers here, so plenty of advice is freely given when needed. Steve

    POTW w/e 29/9/13

What a great picture. So clear. May I ask what equipment you used. Well done, and congrats on winning the POTW. Steve
  9. Here is one of my pictures taken with the Raynox 150. It's not the best, but it might give you a bit of an idea. Steve
  10. I have actually got both, and on the odd occasion I have stacked the 150 with the 250 and used them together.
  11. Thank you Kate. It looks a very nice site, and thanks for sorting out my little problem
  12. Hello everybody, Steve here. I have only been interested in photography for a few years, well actually just about when digital photography became popular. I have a keen interest in all aspects of photography, and here in north Wales there are a wealth of subjects. Rugged coast line, castles, and plenty of wildlife. So lots to keep me busy. I used to be a moderator on a site called the "Lumix users UK" it had to close down because of mainly Russian spammers. They caused so many problems the owner decided to close it down. As you might guess I am a Panasonic user. I have a G3 M4/3rds, and a Lumix FZ200 bridge camera which I use a lot. I came to this forum on the recommendation of Chris lumix who has nothing but nice things to say. Steve
  13. Hello Martyn I hope you don't mind my putting in my penny worth as I have only joined today. I say this with all due respect to the above members who talk about the Raynox 250. I have both the 150 and the 250. May I suggest that if you don,t want to carry a tripod about, and a macro slider, then I would suggest going for the Raynox 150. The reason behind this thinking is that the R250 has such a narrow DOF that it is a very difficult lens to use hand held. It's not impossible to use, but my failure rate is very high with it. The R150 is just about manageable. Hope this helps Steve
