More 'firsts of the season'.........

We are most certainly into our Spring now, and there has been an explosion of colour in the garden, although we know it won't last long if the weather heats up suddenly. Here are a selection of shots I took on Saturday........

Just for colour:

First Stumpytail of the season. Obviously just out of hibernation - look how clean and shiny he is!!:

One of our hanging baskets looking good:

First butterfy of the season - at least the first to stay still long enough for me!!:

And the first tiny Crab Spider:

Won't get much time to 'play' this week, extra work.

Thanks all again. Fuji haven't changed my camera, just the technique, and I'm actually getting more used to the FZ150. It hasn't been a very good winter season this year, so I'm really only just now out and about, finding some 'garden subjects', and giving things another try.

Annie, the hanging basket is in our shaded area, it's one of the Kalanchoe species, and flowers prolifically for ages!

Dave, the lizards are called Stumpys in this area, also known as Shinglebacks, and they are the bulkiest of the Blue Tongue family, and yes, they still have the blue tongue. They are 'regulars' on our block, so guess we'll be seeing more of them from now on.
