POTW 25/08/13

Hi everyone. 

well you've done it to me again! ive had a real headache trying to get my choice down to just one image, there have been so many really great images this week. Too many to mention them all by name on here, but i would just like to give a special mention to Bill for his Sunset on the moor which i found breathtaking and also to CreativeSnaps who has put so many fantastic images on here this week that i have loved, especially rex and shoes both of which are excellent. 

 

However there was one image that caught my eye right from the start of the week and I've gone back to view it again and again. Its an image that, to me, tells a story of long time marriage of sticking together through thick and thin, the good times and the bad, sickness and health, maybe even war and peace.

Well done Korky.  A worthy POTW.  I like the use of the texture, I think it adds to the mood of the image.

So I log in to see what's won POTW and I'm fully expecting it to be 'Rex'. I've even got a witty comment all prepared and then I see this and I'm gobsmacked.

 

This image, the items it contains and now the thumbs-up from you forum folk really do mean a lot. Thank you!

 

Fooj - Matron's taken me off the senna pods. For the last month it's been chilli suppositories twice daily - they work a treat, but I'm forced to keep my undercrackers in the freezer.
