Our first 'feels like Summer' today, currently 33C deg. as I do this and heading for 37C tomorrow, so we did our usual pop into town and then went to what we call the beach. As we went along the track in we spotted a lizard tail scurrying off into the grass, so we stopped to have a look. These things blend in so well with the natural environment it took me a few minutes to find him up a tree, and they automatically go around to the far side from you:

It was a Lace monitor, not the largest we have seen, so guessing a young one, but still at least a metre long, and you can easily see why the are called Lace Monitors with that beautiful texture on the skin:

Then we hit the beach area and Kelly was in like a flash!:

And Brodie did her usual boundy around with a stick

The we headed home and as we approached our gate we saw our Bearded Dragon sunning himself on a tree stump:

He let me get a bit closer, but then took off at speed, as they do:

So it looks like we are into our 'Summer mode' now, even though it doesn't officially start until December.
