I remember, that when I too was in my first flush of macro fever some years ago, I spent hours doing the same........at the moment, because my SONY A55 is set up for copying old glass negatives, I am putting the macro settings on my PANASONIC LX5 through its paces, and have been pleasantly surprised......currently I have about 60 pics on the card, many close ups of bees at work.
