A very crisp shot, and the angle works well :yes

Smashing shots and very interesting too.
When I was young, My mum and dad bought me "The girls Book of Heroines" and one of the true stories was about Amy Johnson, but I can't for the life of me remember what her plane  was.

I will have to Google that unless anyone on here has more info.

Nice set and a pleasure to see thanks for sharing.

Now a little Critque your 1st,  3rd  and 7th { Ariadane } the props are cut off   :popo:  no no please don't chop the props :popo:  ;)

Sorry I just couldn't help myself nothing spoils a old plane shot more than having it's prop chopped off

I feel suitably admonished :)

I can forgive my self for the others but not Ariadne, a wonderful 1936 Hornet Moth that I have had the pleasure of flying in.

Just for nostalgia I have to include this Tiger Moth G-ACDA as I have had the pleasure of actually flying her twice from Sywell over the years. With an instructor in the back I hasten to add, although apart from take offs and landings I had her the rest of the hour each time :)

Envious  wish I could fly a plane  :yes

I'm lucky in the fact that I have been around aircraft a lot in my life, also lucky to have a few friends who own, or have part shares in light aircraft.

I get to fly them now and again but I am not a qualified pilot, nor ever will be! I can hold a course and keep altitude, and have been taught to use rudder and stick effectively.

I'm sure if I can,  anyone can fly!  :)
