How I pray for overcast at these events

 

Thats a rolli  I have a segull and a monty flex and just the shape and touch of them is so good I actually feel like a photographer

It was a fun day, and a number of other togs were looking jealously at my flashgun and wishing they'd brought theirs

 All except the chap dressed in an American pilots uniform but sporting a beard!  A no no, as the USAAF, US Army and the US Navy had policies directly prohibiting beards on the basis of hygiene... quote:

 

 'the necessity of a good seal for gas masks, and the official position that uniform personal appearance and grooming contribute to discipline and a sense of esprit de corps'
