MY PATCH

You have all probably realised by now that Landcape Photography isnt my thing.......not because I dont want it to be, but because, here in Warwickshire we just dont have the Moors, the Pendle's, the Dales, the Lakes or Mountains, the Coast, Cotswolds etc.........instead just miles and miles of rolling farmland as green as green....................Warwickshire is known as the Green County.

This is the view of my patch as I climb the steep hill from the Abbey Fields to the War memorial and town.....Our house is on the other side of the road to the prominent white gable in the  top, left rear....the tall trees just above our group of houses is...Little Wood...it covers the outer moats of the Castle...the Castle itself is tucked in behind the summer growth of the trees slightly to the right of the wood.....our pool is at the bottom of the hill, the site of a huge Abbey.

This is the hill I climb if I want to get my old heart pumping and my lungs bursting ;-)

I have the same problem here, all the land is open, flat, featureless and agricultural so i have to hunt or travel to get any decent spots to shoot so i do know where your coming from.

Thanks Paul

We travel by bus to Fuji's Patch sometimes,as it's far more interesting than where we live.
