do you remember boris, the blairs knot caterpillar I am rearing. well he has now rolled himself into a ball in the soil, and is busy turning into a moth .... hopefully sometime in September he will emerge again. all I can say is, he has become boring.

here is his new pal, Cameron, he is a oak eggar caterpillar..pretty big he is. he is hard work, having to clean his tank everyday..looking for the correct food and keeping him misted with water and moving around the garden all day for shade...lord!  because of his size I also let him have a wander around the patio table every day, and also because I have been told that caterpillars love 'exploring'. Cameron has been with us for about three weeks, I forgot to tell you about him..

I am hoping for one more to make a full set of creepy crawly things..!

nanny it would be wonderful, however that would just be lucky timing...

boris hopefully will never make it into the greenhouse..he should fly this September. Cameron...who knows, I could be looking after him all through winter. he shows no sign of wanting to go into the next stage.

Are you not surprised? he is living the life of luxury while you are running around tending to his every whim!

The little sods got it made :)
