it's beautiful...............love it.

 

loads of these at the lake where we went fishing last week, an usually they will come down and takes scraps of bait from the swims, but last week they seemed very busy, not stopping for a moment...

Its odd but in Whitburn we see very few yet a mile or two miles away over Cleadon Hills my mum has a garden full. 

 

I love my SLR's but having a small (ish) camera with a big zoom is great on a day out. This little bird was a fair old way off and while the quality isn't brilliant I'd have needed my Nikon and the 70-300mm to get better and that would have meant carting the 16-85mm along too and that all adds up to a camera bag full of heavy kit. For those on here with a Bridge camera you really must have a brilliant tool for taking pictures with.
