 I thought that as I had cocked up the exposure I would just simply get shot of it. My wife actually likes it, so I would like to know if this type of exposure, where the foreground is in silhouette, is deemed acceptable in others eyes? I really cannot make my mind up :wacko:

Denis - I don't see any reason to delete it and as Phil suggest shooting raw  might have helped, I would add maybe shooting 3 bracketed shots would have given you a variation of exposures?

 

But to be fair the bright sun was always gong to be a problem - have you thought about a set of grad filters which would darken the sky whilst giving you chance with the foreground?
