Big Skies

We often get 'Big Skies' like this in East Lancashire as the clouds roll in from the Irish Sea, the best time to catch them is late afternoon/evening as the sun is setting depending on the time of year and Pendle Hill provides a perfect vantage point to watch and photograph. The hills are Longridge Fell and the Fells of the Forest of Bowland

Another old one from last year that I've just got around to processing, a quick wazz through Topaz Studio's and crop to letterbox format....

Thanks David. I often find when I'm looking through the viewfinder I'm already thinking about how the final image might look, so this image wasn't taken as a panorama, just a standard 3x2 format, but I had in mind this letterbox format so I knew I'd be cropping 1/3 the height of the image so composed the shot accordingly.
