woo hoo, been chosen

Recommended Posts

i entered the age concern (north east) calendar competition and have had my entry chosen as the photograph for november.

this is the first time they have held this sort of competition so i'm quite chuffed at being one of the first 12 to win.

my prize is a framed print of the image (draw back is that i have already printed it out and it's on the wall, never mind i won't let on).

i go along to be presented with it and have a look at the other enties on the 12th november.

i entered near the end of the competition so i thought that i would be too late but looks like i made it just in time.

the theme was landmarks of the north. mine is st.mary's lighthouse at dawn, it was one of the last ones i took before i got back in the car to come home.

a few years ago i won another competition held by north tyneside council (not overall winner tho) and my daughter came second in the childs comp, so we are doing quite well.

geoff
