this was an open day at the stables she works at. it was just about the presentation and how well they could handle the horses.. she has done jumping before a few times too I think I posted pictures of that at the end of last summer.

She has left school now, starts college in september doing animal care then equine studdies!

That is great news Leon....

She is almost following in the wake of two of my granddaughters.....one will be 21 very soon, is an Eventer, and takes part in Dressage events, totally mad on all things equine' she is in her third year training to be a Vet.

The other one, 19 soon, started off exactly like your Megan....dead keen on horses, dressage and jumping, but was forced to give up her college course when she was thrown, breaking her coccyx ....she continued her animal studies and now buys, breeds and sell Rare-Breed Zwarble's Sheep ....we were proud of her last weekend, when she swept the board, winning most of the prizes in that section of a local Agricultural Show.

I wish Megan, all the very best for her future.

A little off piste I know....but I'm sure that Leon won't mind.....in fact, I hope that he shows this to Megan in due course.

My granddaughter Lucy will be 21 yrs old shortly, this is what I have painted as one of her family presents.....a hair raising task because I knew that both she and Barney Bear her horse needed to look right....a very tough call.
