First bug shot with new ring flash

Looks good Kev, that ring flash certainly has a good set of features for it's price.. It's worth having an extra set of fully charged batteries for the flash as they do tend to run down quickly, couple of 100 shots or so, as it does then take longer for the flash tore-charge and it's not quite as bright.

Your bug looks like an Orb Weaver Spider of some kind..

I've got a rubbish pic in the camera for today, having forgotten taken at a couple of minutes before midnight when i got back from the Theatre in Birmingham after seeing Madame Butterfly..I'll post it tomorrow when nobody's watching;)

This little bottle is about an inch and a quarter  high ....it lives on a shelf in the kitchen and was the first thing that came to hand when I was desperate fto find something to photograph....sorry.

Noted about the batteries Rye.  I need to spend time learning how to use it properly control wise.  But I am more than pleased with it.   ?
