Yes and no.

The processor has a serious amount of grunt making the day to day flow far smoother.
Force Touch is brilliant and once you remember all the things it can do you wouldn't not want it.
The new Home button is superb, honestly can't believe how well it operates compared to the physical ones.
The camera is a little better but not dramatically - you need the plus for anything major.

If I had gone from a 6 to a 7 I'm not sure I'd have been bowled over by the difference like I have in previous jumps.
If any of the rumours about a X this year are true then I would probably hang fire.

On a different note - have you noticed your Apple Watch now makes a clicking noise as it unlocks your iMac and not just a ping? Subtle tweak with the new OS but made me smile
