There are days I love having a dog and there are days I couldn't happily live without him - I'll let you take a wild guess as to which category today falls into.

The weather you see below required a fleece, a goose down jacket and a GORE-TEX hard shell to keep me warm and dry.......even with all those on it was still deeply unpleasant.
The dog? Well he was in the sea chasing the foam as it blew off the surf at gawd only knows what speed and thoroughly enjoying himself.

Cheers BP, your Marsden Rock shots inspired me to document somewhere that's close by - despite the weather - I even spotted some mad crazy fools setting of from the Nick O' Pendle to the Big End

For those unfamiliar with the area the Nick O' Pendle is where the road from the A59 to Sabden reaches the highest point on Pendle and the Big End is the highest point of Pendle Hill, just 15meters short of being a mountain and a fair ole walk, all up hill....

Oh dear... I am really guilt-ridden now as I was really cosy and warm when I took  today's pic....

Erm ...I hope you weren't casting aspersions about the sanity of the Legend that you have custody of Beepy ... he can come and live here anytime ,,, mind you,  I'm about as far from an ocean as you can get in this country so he may miss his beach walks ... We have the Malverns though....
