Was not sure what to take today then this just landed in garden its a quick grab through the window.

I think its a female pheasant.

Certainly looks like a female Pheasant to me, the male ones are a lot more colourful.

Been a rubbish day, very dull and drizzling most of the day - didn't even bother stepping outside the house and the only thing I pointed my camera at were some kaleidoscope glasses for a product shoot. Damned tricky to light for as I wanted the backgrounds to be white. In the end I couldn't quite capture it all in camera so a bit of tweaking with the Lighten RGB Brush

Not as good as a BP  station I suppose....
