That first shot takes me back to the Merseyside beach moments of my childhood - step on that ridged 'sand' and feel your toes squidge into "t'ick blackhhh oiyl"! You've got the last rays of the sun very well. 

 

As for that panorama of the Liverpool waterfront at night - very atmospheric, very sparkling, but nothing like how it looked all dem yurs ago.

 

(Very apt that iTunes, on shuffle, should pick Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds while I'm viewing your shots :) )

Difficult to pick a favourite as they're all very nice, but.....

 

I think number 4 just about wins it for me.

 

New Brighton is a great place to spend a day bimbling with a camera, super in Winter when the place is looking bleak and deserted. Difficult to grasp that New Brighton once had a tower to equal the one in Blackpool and was a VERY popular seaside town.

 

I've really enjoyed viewing these images, thanks for posting.
