Hi Guys.

 

happy new year to you all!!

i have gone out and bought myself a 2nd hand Mountain bike!!  I gave up when I started photography, 6 years later I'm getting fatter and more unfit (the sales rep job isn't helping)

so the camera will be used even less than it is now, I was going to sell it and buy a new compact but Laura bought me a new tripod for xmas, she really doesn't want me to pack in.   

I will obviously have my phone with me so I can take snaps wherever I go so I will always have pictures... I have a friend who wants to take some pictures of me and my friend doing jumps in the woods, when they are done I'll post them for you all to see.

 

so I'll post hen I can... have fun guys.

That saddle looks very slender and cutting - I trust you have some sensible underwear protection for the bootocks.

I got myself a Beartrack hybrid bike last year. Very light with mountain bike technology and with slim wheels and tyres instead.I used to ride it to work three days a week but since I have been back doing distance work and early starts I have not been on it for a while. When the better weather comes i shall get out on it at the weekends.

The groin cutter saddle was ditched in favour of a gelpad wide padded seat that is like sitting in an armchair!

New seat on its way. And I have invested in some proper cycling shorts!!

As said above, a great way to get / keep fit.  I cycle about 60 miles a week to work and back that up with 25,000m a week on a Concept 2 rower I have at home. It's all too easy to lose the hard gained fitness. Enjoy

I'm always careful. my last bike was a downhill bike, the first time I ever wore a helmet I managed to smash it on the first outing!!  a broken limb sticking out from a tree was the culprit.
