POTW - w/e 27/11/16

Before I get to the POTW, a couple of honourable mentions. FUJI's Eye Contact caught my eye for its clarity and capture of a real character. And chorleyjeff's Tenby Sunset appealed with its gorgeous sky and almost deserted feeling. But my choice this week is another one by chorleyjeff - Tintern Abbey. As I said on his post, this abbey has been photographed millions of times, but Jeff has managed to get a new angle on it, with some lovely soft colouring. He was successful in cutting out any modern items, and as a couple of people said, it's almost like a painting.

Thanks to everyone for kind comments.

It was my first visit to the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean and the weather was mixed. A fascinating post industrial area.

Some shots from the visit will be posted in the next couple of weeks.
