I'm with you now. The opposite side to New Street / Corporation Street. Birmingham has changed so much in recent years! That concourse from where you took  the picture didn't exist in any form until ?fairly recently. I should have recognised the building mid-left, but out of context .. you know how it is.

I wasn't aware of the taxi-driver controversy, Fuji, but I'm glad I got my photos done before they ruin it.The taxis do park along there - I am posting another to give you an idea. I do like the contrast between the glitzy American look and the industrial age buildings nearby.
