What do you think?

Just got back from a Photographic Foray to a local scrap metal dealer, with Kobione. One piece that caught my eye was this old girl. I'm pretty sure it's a Standard 8, but Mr Google can only come up with 2 door versions. What do you think?

I can justj imagine Dee's joy when you asked her out for the day at Wollamagoo Scrapyard! You're just an old romantic, Brian, an old romantic! I bet you even shared your fish paste sandwiches and your bottle of fizzy pop.

I like number 2 best as well - though I also like the shot of the radiator grille.

Just had a thought ----- When Dee came over to the UK, we wined her and dined her. We showered her with gifts and we even took her to the theatre (sort of).

And Fooj even treated her to a tour of his shed and showed her his collection of things that have a sharp edge!

Romance aint dead, buddy, romance aint dead - it just aint at home in Wollamagoo.

I just can't help myself, Korks. I promised not to tell what happened behind the battered old Bedford... They'll do anything for a Marmite sandwich and a sip of home made ginger beer.

Google a MORRIS 10 Brian , I'm sure that's what you found.

'Fraid not, Fooj. All the Morrises had the ribs on the grill horizontal. And I believe the Union Jack emblem was the mark of the Standard.

Try a standard 14 Brian

You know, Fuzzy, I think you might be right. I think it might be a stretched version of the Standard 10 with bigger engine and 4 doors. I couldn't find one exactly the same, possibly a different year? The bonnet is slightly different. (Google photo, not mine)
