Very nice work, Barbara - the horse portrait is my favourite, the texture works brilliantly well.

Not really a criticism, just an observation, but I can't help thinking the portrait would be improved if the leather strap across the horses neck was either cloned or cropped out.

I was in the middle of doing that arty-farty thing of holding my hands to the screen to see if cropping worked when Mrs K walked in, caught me in the act and gave me one of those looks. I tried it again after she went out and I think it works.

Thank you both, I think sometimes it is my inability to focus on one thing at a time, the internet is a little like my lifestyle never finish one job before starting another, consequently  nothing is accomplished at all. I may start a post will pop onto flickr for an image.... something else will catch my attention and I change direction completely and can easily end up on the other side of the world,  I wouldn't want to use my age as an excuse for these wanderings but............ Now where did:42_confused::42_confused: put the car keys?

Barbara - Please feel free to join in with the 52 Project if you think it might give you a focus (that sounds like a Fuji pun, but it wasn't intended). Others have pitched in late, so no reason why you shouldn't.

I start the thread every Tuesday and then you have till close of play the following Monday to post your picture. Any camera, any subject, any processing you fancy. The image needs to be taken that week, NOT one from the archives.

If you fancy, give it a wazz - we have senior moments on a regular basis
