Nice set of evocative images Colin but for me #1 stands head over shoulders above the rest.

 Thanks Paul - I prefer that one myself, 10 seconds after I took the picture the Fog swept back in and they were lost in the mist.

i love number one, just like a painting,.. number 3 would be better without the ground, which will make it look like a dandelion clock

it is the almost perfect symmetry that draws me to this tree, not sure it would be fair to make it look like something else but I do see your point.
