Raf College Cranwell Lincolnshire has a long history dating back to its foundations as a Royal Navy training establishment in 1916, and is currently used as a training base for the Royal Air Force for pilots from the UK and beyond.

Picture below taken a few evenings ago as, although I am not sure the flood lighting has helped the scene so you have a choice of colour or black and white.

Passed that so often when we lived in Lincolnshire Colin ... It is a superb building ... Such symmetry... You've done a super job with the balance .. And I like them both ... Though the colours in the sky mean the colour one has the edge for me ... Bet it would look great as a really big print ...  Oh btw. Got the pics back ... And they Do look great .. Will get them hung and send you some pics after... ..

I really like this, the colours and the lighting make for an eye catching photograph.  Being one of the RAF's neo classical buildings, it radiates style and gives the effect of being older than it actually is...love it!
