Broken Ankle.....

We went to the local tip this morning to get rid of all the Christmas wrapping and the like. While there my wife lost her footing fell over and broke her ankle.  What a wonderful start to 2016 in a plaster cast for the first 4 to 6 weeks...

Sorry to hear that. I fell last night and smashed my 2 day old Mobile! Not as bad as an ankle though!

Oh dear JH, may be a few frustrating weeks - it was when I broke my ankle 10 years ago - 6 weeks of sitting with it in the air, not easy at a computer desk!! Hope she heals well.

 That is really bad luck JH ... Hubby did his ankle two years ago and just not being able to drive meant I was a chauffeur for eight weeks... He never quite got  comfortable using crutches and always looked likely to fall over and break the other ankle!!!    I hope all goes well for a swift recovery for her... As R on said ... Looks like you could be extra busy ....

Thanks for your kind words of support guy's. I don't like to blow my own Trumpet but we already do share the cooking and house work, this means I will have to do her share too for a while..

Your good lady has my fullest sympathy........your message, brought back all the horror of me breaking both legs not that many years ago.........it took me six months to learn to walk again...
