New Lens?

Recommended Posts

In the next few months I'm looking to ge a new lens for my camera, I'm looking at something that that sits between the focal lengths of my Canon EF 24-105mm f4L IS USM and Sigma 150-600mm F5-6.3 DG OS HSM Contemporary.

I've listed a selection of lens that fit:

Sigma 70-200 mm f2.8 EX DG OS HSM - 705.89

Canon EF 70-200mm f4 L IS USM 790.00

Canon EF 70-200mm f2.8 L USM Lens 944.49

Canon EF 70-200mm f2.8 L IS II USM 1499.99

Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6L IS USM 894.00

While I'd love to go for the Canon EF 70-200mm f2.8 L IS II USM, the nearly £1500 price tag is a bit over the top and almst double the price of an equivalent Sigma 70-200 mm f2.8 EX DG OS HSM - the OS in Sigma mean Image Stablisation - IS in Canon

There isn't really an equivalent Sigma Lens in in 70-300mm f2.8 range only a 120-300m f2.8 at £2600.00 - which is far out of the range I want to spend.

At the momet I'm undecided between the Sigma 70-200 mm f2.8 EX DG OS HSM or Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6L IS USM 894.00....

Any thoughts?
