Very Early Dog Walk

Black Pearl

Recommended Posts

One side effect of being made redundant on a Friday then starting an entirely new job on the following Monday is a rather disturbed night's sleep....if you can even call it that.

The other side effect is you find yourself walking the dog trying to clear your head when this is happening.

Now THAT  is  what I call a sunrise  BP !! These pics are all the more meaningful when accompanied by  a  text that shows one's thought processes too. I am pleased you are doing as you say.. Following your signature  .. Ie when you come to a fork in  the road .... Take it. Really  good luck in your new job BP . Wishing you well  in it :yes

Thank you.

At forty odd years old this will only be my third job so I'm really not used to change. I'm taking a bit of a risk (hence the sleepless nights) but I have a little bit of redundancy money to fall back on and I need to doing something that isn't high street dependant. If it goes well I could make a bit of money and gains some new skills - it it goes wrong you can come buy your next white goods from me when I end up back in a shop.

Good luck with the new job too BP, without giving too much away have you moved away from retail..?

Cheers

Ron

I'm going to try my hand at direct sales - of a sort.

I've been taken on by a firm that helps small businesses claim back rates from their local council. Turns out many have been over paying or even paying when it should be free. The firm does the background work getting info from the council, working out the rebates and discounts and it will be up to me to call into the businesses and ask the owners permission for us to do the legwork for them. They get paid direct from the council and we only take our cut if its successful....I hate the term buts its a no win no fee transaction. I went out last Friday with the owner who said he'd show me the process, see if it was something I wanted to do and would pay me for any 'hits' we got. I made £900 which apparently isn't unusual. It might be a disaster or it may be the break from retail I have thought about for a while - I really don't know but I'm going to have a crack at it.

;)You're too modest BP but I agree that sometimes Mother Nature makes  it hard to take a bad  photo..  But she doesn't tell you where to stand and what exposures to use  .....or go out at the crack of dawn to get  the opportunity... Big pat on the back to you.
