A bronze sculpture on the Civic Centre in Newcastle.

Had to shoot up at it and try to correct the distortion in LR as its a fair way up the wall and I don't have a tilt/shift lens.

Great looking statute. I can imagine it being tricky to get it right, particularly with the brickwork. I know Canon's Tilt/Shift lens are particuarly expensive - around the £1400 mark - a lot of money just to take one image.

Come towards it from Haymarket with the Swan sculptures to your right and its dead ahead.

I've more images but I was mostly shooting film tonight so it'll be a while until they're processed/scanned.

Gosh it's years since I've seen that..... in the early seventies as I recall on a trip to the city when I lived in Richmond ..Did you take a shot from directly underneath too ... it is imposing, Nicely captured .

I thought about that angle but it was grey and dull last night so the sky would have been flat or just blown out.
Thats a shot for a blue sky/white fluffy clouds day.
