Oh That treatment suits it really well John ... a place I have often visited ...The Elizabethan  gatehouse built in the late 16th early 17th Century,  leads to one of the finest fortified Manor Houses in the country that  was built mostly before the year 1300 !  It 's a wonder that it has survived so well ..

I absolutely love that place.... ... I used to be the official.....Tudor-Toy Maker for English Heritage.... in me knee britches, hose and ruff....

I ran practical Tudor Toy Making workshops there quite a few times.... I must be one of the very few people to have camped inside during Bank Holusay weekends, or odd Summer Saturday’s...

I was always booked as a...Small Event.... to be shut inside the grounds of a Castle like Stokesay was a pleasure and a privelage.

The pic ( not mine ...I acknowledge the photographer) was taken of me in full Tudor costume working at Anne Hathaway's Cottage, near Stratford-Upon-Avon.
