Even being out in gods own country I'm lacking inspiration to go out snapping been here 3 days and all the shots i have taken have been from the living room window.

Including this one. Sat watching this young chap yesterday fly his drone up and down the river was fascinating I never knew the decent ones were so small, you could see the look on the good lady wife's face of "he's going to want one of those".  Guess what shes right as usual, I'm having one of those.

As an old geezer, I'm not really attracted to the drone, but they have the potential to produce some stunning video.

Our great and glorious founder - Phil - has produced some good vid sequences with his drone, but I'm not sure if he still does them. Perhaps someone else can shed some light.......

A friend of mine who does off-roading motorcycle trail riding, in the UK and Bulgaria, often uses a drone as a way to capture footage to promote a business. I think you need a good and valid reason to have one other than capturing random stuff.

I think Phil was selling his as I recall

I think he bought one, then sold it and then bought another one. I think the ones he bought were between £1200-£1500 each, which makes them a fairly expensive toy.

Ouch! The ones I was looking at like in the picture are about £40 which is more my budget and when the novelty wore off that sort of price would not hurt.
