GETTING THE POINT ACROSS

To get a new/different angle on the very thought provoking sculpture...THE KNIFE ANGEL...I had to squeeze myself at a very uncomfortable manner in between dozens of other people with cameras...by this time, about two weeks into the installation, many wreathes and flows plus photographs of real knife victims were posted all around...even the steps up to the old and new cathedrals had ...anti-knife messages scrawled on.

That's a very unique angle - and a superb B&W conversion!.

For the victims of knife crime.  It's sadly become a big issue here in the UK over the last year or so.

Thank you Cheryl.....there has been a horrific increase in violent knife crime, mainly in London, but in other large cities too....the Knife Angel is a large sculpture formed from thousands of confiscated used or potential weapons by police. I will find a reference for it for you.

A nice dramatic take on the Angel, Fuj.

There was a strong peaceful atmosphere when  I went. Did it seem that way to you too.
