A small bit of modern Skipton that really does your head in.... Even I find this image difficult to look at for more than a few seconds....

That's just fabulous Rye ... is that  a  crop of whatever it was ...? If it is .... do show us what it is ... it is just  brilliantly perfect! I love that !

Modern Skipton

See the three grey panels behind Starbucks, well that's what one looks like close up if you take it an angle... The image I posted was straight out of camera, the only editing was to resize and put a frame around it.

As you say it's very 1960's op art.... I love looking for stuff like this....

It has a Moire effect  doesnt it .... it's something i spent ages years ago trying to get rid of in  photos ...lol

It is sorta a Moire effect but not..... or maybe it is, I just liked the pattern it produced.

You did a great job getting it so sharp and not  having to crop it ...It 's perfectly aligned in the frame...

Thanks Clicker, I do love looking for images like this, my 50 Shades Of Grey project really helped.... Plus diagonals are much easier to get right, everyone notices when straight lines are off - even if only by a flies nadger.....

Almost a pure....Brigit Riley.....the famous Op-Artist, of the 1960 s.....if you don’t know her work, it is well worth looking up.

Love this kind of image.
