I took a photo of a number of these daisy like  flowers and last night, fiddled in Photoshop with a few layers and blending options with this as one of the results .

I quite like the colours ... 59692c51b9275_crazydaisyed2sx.thumb.jpg.89d1c21ead3e23aa2ab43634898e1d87.jpg

Polly, that's great to what you have done to get your 'artistic result' from the original, lovely gentle image.

Thanks folks ....

Sometimes things happen when you fiddle that are completely accidental ... I have no idea how or where the little wisp of aqua blue came from in the rendering of the background and on the petal  of the right flower but  it was what made me keep this version ... Odd innit ... ?

A wonderful example of what can be done with a shot that might well have been deleted.....it is always advisable not to be too hasty to click on that dustbin.

Thanks ... That was exactly my point Fooj ...   the downside of this policy though .... is you need a lot of space to keep all the pics that you might be able to retrieve a decent image from with some manipulation ... I think  I may have to be a bit more ruthless in future though ,,,,
