A Misty Day on the Hill

For me  this is one of your best landscapes sets Rye ... full of character and  composed really  well ... It reinforces my long held  view that  some of the worst conditions for taking photos are bright sunny days  with cloudless skies ..  give me  days like  these every time when it comes to atmospheric mono landscapes . Super stuff and agree  with the  Beepy about the  themed nature of your last few sets ...

If I had to choos oe it would be #2...by a whisker .

Thanks BP, Phil and Clicker. I thought I'd take more advantage of some of the landscape I have locally, the West Pennine Moors, Pendle etc, so I was looking for shots that had a similar theme, which I then processed and framed in a similar manner. I was been hoping to catch the mist and clouds rolling over Pendle Hill as it quite often does.

Rye, these are just beautiful, I know my better half will love them, because she was born in Nelson, her family hale from right on the border between Lancs and Yorks, they have direct family links with one of the Pendleton Witches, named Alice Nutter.

She scare me at times, I'm sure she has a broomstick somewhere here.

I'm not sure what to make of these Mr Wolf all good, but I would like to see a little colour especially in the 2nd 3rd pics. Now I'm not talking full on colour just a hint to show the depth and detail which doesn't seem to come across for me, although admittedly that might be due to the 'small' display pics and seeing them full size might just be amazing.
