A couple of images caught my eye this week, but the one that bowled me over was Rock Splash by Black Pearl. I'm not usually a great fan of mono, but this one was made for it! It's dynamic and dramatic, beautifully processed, and nicely framed. I'd be pleased to have this on my wall. Do click through - it's even better viewed large. The original thread is here.

I had two images in mind for this week's POTW, both by the same photographer. One was Young Rabbit, by JHFoto, which is beautifully sharp and picks up the lovely colours in the rabbit's fur. But the one I'm settling for is Mouse, also by JHFoto. I love the warm colours and the way the little fellow is framed by the grass. It's a lovely sharp image, and I like the way the warm light shines on the fur. Anyway, well done JH! Original thread is here .

Sorry for the very early arrival of this week's POTW, but I'm knackered and am just about to shut my computer down and put my feet up! Paul's I fly, with my little eye, caught my attention, and was a close contender, but the one that really wowed me this week was Roger W's Kingfisher. I realise not everyone will agree with me, as most people seemed to like the second one with the green background, but I was impressed with this one. It's difficult to catch a shot of a kingfisher at the best of times, but to catch it with its beak wide open is, to me special. Well done Roger! Original thread is here .

A couple of images made my shortlist this week, but the one I have chosen is Korky's The Paphos Light. It's bright and cheerful, making me look forward to summer days, and the portrait style of it suits the lighthouse well. Well done Korky! The original post is here.
