  1. Thanks, everyone - see you in two weeks! Korky
  2. Just thought I'd mention that tomorrow I'm off for a much-needed holiday in North Wales - walking, relaxing, reading and taking a few photographs. I won't be around for two weeks (no internet) and I didn't want anyone to think I've retreated to the man cave again - I haven't. I'm really enjoying my time back at TIPF and I hope it'll continue. 3. That's all well and good, but where would I put my flask and butties? Korky

    POTW w/e 28/7/13

That really is a superb piece of work. Well done! Korky

    Damn Traffic.

My God, John, our street's busier than that. Korky
  6. Sometimes, it takes a cover version of this quality to make you realise what a great song it was in the first place.

    Lunch

Put 4 Mars bars and two bags of chocolate buttons in the microwave for three minutes. When melted and piping hot, pour over a large slab of jam roly-poly. Consume on the settee whilst watching Loose Women - or Jeremy Kyle should you prefer. When finished, let the dog lick the bowl to save on washing up. Now, THAT'S more like it! Korky
  8. So glad that a few of you have enjoyed a bit of Richard Thompson. Korky
  9. For me, Richard Thompson is England's finest songwriter and he happens to be a bit good on guitar as well. A shame about the beret, though! The 'RED' post by Mr Wall reminded me of this one.

    Hi All

Hello Ian and welcome to the forum. Nice to have a Pie Eyter on board - I now live in Chorley, but I was born, bred and buttered in Leigh. Looking forward to seeing some of your pics! Korky
  11. Photobucket has changed so much since I last used it and I'm not sure I like it any more. So....... Can anyone recommend a good alternative? I just want to store images and use for posting to TIPF without the restriction of the 300k limit. Korky
  12. C is for crappy camper van! And yes, I know I'm bending the rules, but I care not! Korky

    Hello!

Thank you for all the kind comments. I'll do my very best not to do another runner - but I am off on a much-needed holiday next week. Korky

    HONESTY

Get yerself an iPhone and have done with it. And while yer at it, get an iMac. You'll never look back! Once it's spent. it's spent. Korky

    Hello!

Hello, everyone! It's been some months since I felt the urge to have a beaky around and have a natter with the ones who natter, but after Fooj wrestled me down to the ground, got me into a Boston Crab and refused to let go till I signed in to TIPF again, I was left with little choice but to return. I wont bore you with the detail, but I've had some serious health issues this year. I'm still far from being out of the woods (I'll probably be wandering around in the woods for good if I'm honest) and I'm a bit flaky mentally and emotionally so you'll need to forgive me if my pram and rattle get separated from time to time. So......... If you want to say hello, as always, mine's a pint of real ale AND a large Jameson! Korky
  16. It's all pretty much been said. A cracking piece of work! Korky

    POTW w/e 17/3/2013

Only just spotted this one. Sorry! Well done, Fooj, nice to see this as POTW. It might only be a grab shot through a bus window, but it really is a winner! Korky
  18. Absolutely brilliant! Thanks, Richard. Very much enjoyed by Mrs K and myself. Korky

    No excuse...

Cheers, Phil - that is indeed yours truly, but I find it hard to believe you just 'came across' it. It's the Empire Theatre, Blackburn btw. Korky
  20. And here's a few FREE ones! GIMP is probably the best of the freebies. Korky
  21. Haven't been around for a good few weeks and I've no excuse what-so-ever. It's been due to a severe attack of laziness, compounded by a gradely dose of can't be bothered. I think I may have snapped out of it now, so I'll be back for a good ol' beaky around over the weekend. Nice to see everyone still doin' it so well. Korky

    POTW 27/01/13

Very nice work - well done! Korky

    POTW w/e 20/1/13

That's the one! Congrats, Fooj. Korky
  24. Some great freebies there, but anyone downloading the Mac versions should be aware that they won't run on Intel machines. Korky
  25. All sounds a bit scary, keep safe and, as Lee says, take some pics. BTW I had 'bushfire' on a triple word, but thought it best not to play it Korky
