  3. I really like the ahh a nice cuppa one.
  4. Thanks all. The user name came about because the forum didn't want to accept any other concoctions of Andy etc. Both my wife and me use Nikon I have a D7000 and a small selection of older full frame lenses which date back to mid eighties when i first purchased a Nikon F501, AF. My wife has uses a Nikon D3100. All the photos have been mine so far. But I'm sure to get some of Hazel's on here soon. Her Didcot ones have some very good pictures there.
  5. The cable wasn't ideally placed but it was the best of the 2 options, as there was a fluorescent green Spar carrierbag bag hanging from the back of the engine which just looked completely out of place! So had to let it engine move a bit so the carriage hid it.
  6. That's a good set of photos. The second and the last 2 are really good.
  7. Thanks Mono. I sometimes find the standard engine shot can be a bit boring, so look for something that interests me.
  8. Thanks Ryewolf, I understand Penndenis Castle is on the roster for this Saturday. Haven't been to Didcot for a very long-time but I did like being able to wander around and get up close to the engines and rolling stock.
