  1. As most know by now I'm happy with monochrome with images that suit but am also wanting to show colour too....sooo here some mono's from the day
  2. Thnx.....yes DOF is great. I have gained with confidence using manual for focus with the Sony 20mm G lens and set the F-stop to F/11 focus is set 5m which as you can see gives front to infinity focus.

    Oh i know.....thing is i ain't as agile as i used to be! As for the limestone images, that area is tame compared to the ones near Ingleborough which is where i'm heading to tomorrow,(1-09)

    I've been on a day trip to Whitby and was keen to take a few long exposure shots of the sea going over rocks etc...

  15. Thank you. Where I was they weren't as lethal as they are near Ingleborough, I know cause I partially fell down one many years ago when I had my son on my shoulders, her was fine with my quick reaction. I am going to be going to that part of the 'limestone pavement' soon!

  19. Thank you. I was at the time having a bite to eat in front of the trig point. I just looked and too a wonder for an angle...it paid off!
  20. Yes that's so true...a different view when in them but can depend on where you are too!
  21. This Norland Moor above Sowerby Bridge in West Yorkshire. It's known for it's heather.
